CONTEMPORARY STAGE ARTS STUDIO

“Diversified” learning – parallel studies in diverse workshops.

A number of workshops, reflecting their corresponding theatrical conceptions, are combined within the project’s framework (O. Chaika, O. Tokarchuk, O. Drach, Ye. Lapin, L. Venediktova).

Each student has the opportunity of studying in a combination of up to 5 workshops. A choice of 3 of the 5 is obligatory for each student.

To help the student choose, each instructor presents a personal workshop and conducts an introductory class. The class is also selective, in that the instructor chooses the students who are to participate.

Timeframe

Activities occur weekdays from 7pm to 11pm. In 2006-7 the workshop will take place from the end of November to the end of April.

A second year of study is foreseen for graduates of the first level. Participation in a practicum is a prerequisite for acceptance into the second year.

The entrance procedure requires

- an interview - which can take place at the Centre, weekdays from 6-7pm;
- participation in introductory activities of the 5 indicated workshops.
